Christian leaders across Canada continue to struggle navigating increasingly polarized conversations with their congregations, families and friends.
How do we as Jesus followers converse with divergent viewpoints and engage in active listening with a Christlike posture? What skills do we as leaders need to acquire to tackle tough conversations? What parts of our inner lives as leaders do we need to acknowledge and address?
Conflict is inevitable. But rather than approaching conflicts as threats or problems to be solved, what if we could see our disagreements as opportunities for personal growth? Could our differences push us toward developing healthier relationships and communities?
Join us for a 4 week live and interactive book club experience we'll read and discuss the book In The Space Between Us, by facilitator and mediator Betty Pries. Betty will join us January 27th, 2022 for a live Q&A session.
Rooted in Christian practices of mindfulness, connecting with our most authentic selves, and deep listening to uncover new possibilities, this book offers new ways forward in the face of interpersonal and organizational conflicts.
